The Wuhan-Umbria Tasting Club
We think that tasting good wine and food is one of the most divine activities on earth. There are more than 500 different “vigneti” in Italy, with at least 30 in Umbria alone. With us, you can have a taste of many of them. Knowing more about what you are drinking enhances the joy.
We are working with wineries and Restaurants in organizing tasting events, but we can do it also at your place or at our beautiful tasting terrace at Villa Orfei. Just contact us.

Join the “wuhan-umbria” tasting club!
We offer you membership in our tasting club. That entitles you to various privileges:.
- participation (free) on wine tastings of our Enogusteria, 20% discount on other wine tastings
- Access to DionBot. DionBot can tell you everything about wine and about food/wine pairing
- Co- acquisition of wines. Join our Enogusteria to get the best wines at the best prices
- Home Tasting whereever you are. Italian Wine for the world. And this is the cherry on the cake. We will send you any Italian wine that you desire, charging you only the price of the wine and the shipment. the handling we are doing for free
- Enjoy a yearly party for club members!
The annual fee of membership is 60 €.
Our Proposals
We offer individual tastings and group tastings and we can tailor to your desires
- If you want a specific winery – you get it.
- if you want a vertical tasting of a specific wine through the years – we will make it happen.
- If you want a horizontal tasting of a wine from different producers, no problem.
- If you don’t know how to pair your favorite dish with wine, we will find the right pairings together.
If you want a unique experience of fusion cooking with Umbrian wines ask us for a lunch or dinner at Villa Orfei. We will serve you in our private dining room with views over the hills to Assisi. A journey from Wuhan to Umbria.
We can do tasting events in Italian, English, German or Chinese, or in any mix of these languages to suit your group.
