Bed and Bottle

Description

We offer you both.  Tasting of typical, premium and top Umbrian wines from our cellar and accomodation in our roof top apartment (VG5) in the historic city center of Perugia.

We will meet typically at 5pm in our cellar  (check in 16:30) and we will choose  among the 1000 labels the 5 bottles to taste. The tasting is from 6 to 7.30 pm. We serve some fingerfood with the tasting, but you can add an Umbrian tagliere    if you want a better wine/food experience.  After the wine tasting you have the choice to cook a “spaghettata” in the bottle appartment or to follow one of our recomendations for restaurants in Perugia. The next day you can sleep as much as you want, Checkout is only at  2pm

what you should know:

• the bottle apartment is spacious (70 sqm). It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big living and a kitchen. But the bedsize is 1.4 m for one  and 1.2 m for the other. Some people might consider this as single beds.
• the bottle apartment is on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator. You could consider that you have to pay the gym for the same exercise
• there is  comfortable heating in winter, but no air condition in summer.  you can open windows in direction north,west and south and there is always  ventilation. But in July and August it may become  hot.
• One bathroom is on suite, the other bathroom is in the flat, but not on suite
