Brunello and Sangiovese no brand

We are organizing a special enjoyment. A blind tasting of Brunello and other Tuscan and Umbrian Sangiovese. The selection of Brunello is random. A year ago Nixy and I passed over Montalcino and did shopping. The Sangiovese in the test are known to us. Accordo from the Velette, l\’Otto from ViniVENtisei, il Tocco from Campotondo, we are still checking for other high end Sangiovese. The tasting will be blind and we want to achieve a purely subjective ranking of the wines, which have a price range from 8€ to 50€/bottle. We are comparing apples and pears ? It\’s all Sangiovese.

The event will have two parts. Every participant gets an evaluation Sheet and 8 tasting glasses. A preliminay tasting of all wines is done before lunch is served. Then the tasting is extended on combination with food.

The menu will be published at the beginning of December, vegetarian alternatives will be provided.

This event is a collaboration between ViniVENtisei e TheBuonrespiro at the premises of ViniVENtisei.

How to reach them: We are approx. 7mins from Orvieto…still in the greater Orvieto zone but you enter from a small side street off the SP44 direction Allerona. The side road is called Localita Salceta, Castel Viscardo. Check it out!
